Like Doves, like Interpol, Elbow seem to encourage a fanatic fanbase who feel that the band are plated in gold and can do no wrong. I'm a Doves band kind of kid, but fair play to Elbow who've worked hard and done this without label backing. And Richard Hawley's on the record and that's a good enough reason to give anyone a prize. Soft as a bag of tits.
